...Further mile­stones on the way We are aware of our re­spons­ib­il­ity along our value and sup­ply chains, so re­cog­nising and re­spect­ing hu­man rights and the en­vir­on­ment are part of our self-im­age. For this reason, we prepared the first sustainability report in the history of the Th. Geyer Group in 2024, even before the legal obligation, in which we report on the year 2023. We also voluntarily implement the German Supply Chain Sustainability Act (LkSG) and regularly assess direct and indirect environmental aspects and thus the impact of our business activities on the environment. We are currently working on the following projects: Sus­tain­ab­il­ity man­age­ment sys­tem We are thus cre­at­ing a reg­u­lat­ory and or­gan­isa­tion­al frame­work for sus­tain­able de­vel­op­ment. With this hol­ist­ic, har­mon­ised sys­tem of goals, prin­ciples, meth­ods and tools, we will con­tinu­ously im­prove en­vir­on­ment­al pro­tec­tion, eco­nom­ic ef­fi­ciency and so­cial re­spons­ib­il­ity in equal meas­ure. Eval­u­ation After our sustainability management system was awarded a silver medal in the first EcoVadis assessment, we want to do even better. We are currently in the process of implementing the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) in order to meet all the associated legal requirements at the beginning of 2026. This includes implementing the ESRS standard instead of the previous GRI reporting. We are happy to comply with the desire for transparency by having ourselves assessed again by EcoVadis and other institutions such as Verso and Integrity Next. This keeps you up to date on our activities and the assessments provide us with valuable information for continuous improvement in accordance with the PDCA cycle.
