Sus­tain­ab­il­ity needs goals

With its Sus­tain­able De­vel­op­ment Goals (SDGs), the United Na­tions has provided guid­ance on how the glob­al vis­ion of peace, prosper­ity and pro­tec­tion of plan­et Earth can be achieved.

As a me­di­um-sized fam­ily busi­ness, we want to con­trib­ute to this with­in the scope of our pos­sib­il­it­ies and have there­fore defined our key top­ics based on these 17 UN SDGs and the re­quire­ments of our stake­hold­ers.

These top­ics are taken in­to ac­count as ob­ject­ives of our stra­tegic plan­ning:

  • In­creas­ing eco­nom­ic per­form­ance
  • Sus­tain­able pro­cure­ment: im­ple­ment­a­tion of the Sup­ply Chain Sus­tain­ab­il­ity Act (so­cial as­sess­ment +
    en­vir­on­ment­al as­sess­ment of sup­pli­ers)
  • Re­duc­tion of en­ergy con­sump­tion and CO2 emis­sions
  • Di­versity and equal op­por­tun­it­ies
  • Ex­pan­sion of train­ing and fur­ther edu­ca­tion
  • Em­ploy­er of choice
  • Di­git­al­isa­tion / AI
