The cylindrical LABSOLUTE® magnetic stirring bars have a smooth surface. The PTFE coating makes them particularly resistant to chemicals and temperatures.

The LABSOLUTE® stirring bar retrievers in the lengths of 150, 250 and 350 mm are suitable for removing magnetic stirring bars from vessels of all kinds. They have a strong permanent magnet (Alnico 5) with a 10 mm diameter. Due to the PTFE coating the stirring bar retrievers are particularly resistant to chemicals and temperatures.

The set of LABSOLUTE® magnetic stirring bars is a perfect assortment of the most common sizes for almost all applications. The cylindrical, smooth, PTFE-coated stirring bars come in a solid box with a transparent, hinged lid.

The set consists of the following 10 stirring bars: 1x 15 x 6 mm, 2x 20 x 7 mm, 2x 25 x 7 mm, 1x 30 x 7 mm, 2x 40 x 7 mm, 1x 50 x 7 mm and 1x 60 x 7 mm.

Universal alternative to oil bath

The reaction block allows syntheses to be carried out in round flasks at temperatures of up to 250 °C. As a result, with this system, oil as a heat transfer media is made redundant and your lab is a safer place. The reaction block ensures safety at work and prevents oil baths and heating mantles from overheating in your lab. The messy oil clean-ups that results from changing oil or removing flasks from an oil bath will be eliminated. Injuries and burns from hot oil will never happen again. Uniform mixing is also guaranteed because there is no interference to the magnetic field from the aluminium blocks. This system ensures optimal heat transfer from the heating plate directly into the medium.

Extremely strong, abrasion-free and wear-free magnetic stirring bar, bearing on a tripod-construction, especially for the use in stainless steel vessels and in the case of media containing abrasive particles, e.g. sand or sediments, no direct contact between stirring bar and reaction vessel, therefore steady firm, wear-free, chemical resistance comparable to PTFE, recommended magnetic stirrers: 2mag MIX 1 XL and MIXdrive 1 XL.

PTFE-encapsulated magnetic core (Alnico 5) axially mounted in a guide cage made of PTFE, universal chemical resistance. No shear action on the bottom of the beaker, smooth running in glass beakers also on an uneven bottom. The cage acts like a baffel and thus provides optimum mixing results.

The sealing rings on these bearings ensure a perfect sealing. The ground joint no longer sticks, the danger of breaking is reduced and the cone can be removed easily from the socket. A special gasket made of PTFE and an FPM o-ring which is compressed by a GL screw cap provide a good sealing of the stirrer shaft. This gasket can be exchanged after wearing. Suitable for vacuum, perfect bearing for stainless steel, glass and BOLA Stirrer Shafts.

Useful extension to the existing range of Bola stirrer shafts. The additional blades can optionally be fixed in your preferred position on every stirrer shaft with diameter 8,10 or 16 mm (a flat spanner is included). The stirrer blades are entirely made of PTFE, the mounting devices are made of a special PTFE-compound. A high chemical and thermical (-200 to +250 °C) resistance is assured. This "building block system" allows the user to define a stirrer of their own special requirements.

Magnetic core (Alnico 5) encapsulated in borosilicate glass, cylindrical shape, extremely smooth surface prevents from penetration of substances, non-porous, non-contaminating, universal chemical resistance. FDA conformity. Temperature resistance -200 bis +250 °C.

PTFE-coated magnetic core made of a very strong magnetic material (rare earth magnet samarium-cobalt), torque loads transmitted are about 4 times larger than those of conventional magnetic stirring bars.
