LABSOLUTE® culture tubes are sterile disposable tubes suitable for microbial cultivation or storage under aerobic or anaerobic conditions.

The dual closure made of polyethylene (PE) enables aerobic or anaerobic cultivation, depending on the position. The cap allows the tube to be opened or closed easily and safely, ensuring clean and safe working conditions.

The LABSOLUTE® culture tubes made of PP are unbreakable, resistant to common acids, bases and solvents and can be centrifuged up to 3000 x g at temperatures from -80°C to 121°C.

Tubes are designed to standardize vaccines. The stem is marked from 0.01 to 0.05 ml intervals, with a tolerance of ±0.0025 ml. The body has graduations at 1.5 and 10 ml with a tolerance of ±0.2 ml. Scale and legend are durable white ceramic enamel.

Lids offer protection against contamination and evaporation during sample storage and cell cultivation. Four different polystyrene lids are available. High profile without condensation rings is mainly used for non TC-treated 96 well microplates. High profile with condensation rings is recommended for cell culture applications, since it ensures an optimum oxygen supply to cultivated cells due to improved gas exchange. Low profile lids contents are protected against evaporation and contamination, and the covered microplates can be easily gripped on the side in automated processes. Universal ultra low profile lids is compatible with a whole range of different microplates, provides the greatest possible protection against evaporation, and is also suitable for use in automated systems.
