Ultra-pure, virgin PTFE chips promote gentle, efficient boiling and help prevent overheating, even of highly volatile liquids. Ideal for continuous extraction methods. Stones minimize "bumping" during reflux and distillation. The boiling stones are not affected by acids, hydrocarbons, ketones, esters, alcohols or alkalis. PIPETMAN® L is a mechanical air-cushion pipette with a patented volume locking system that eliminates the need to adjust the volume during pipetting. Due to the innovative ejection system with a lever arm the ejection forces are very low. In addition, the eject button is adjustable, so that it can be comfortably operated by both right- and left-handed users. PIPETMAN® L has a 2D identification code.

Alternative Eight-channel pipettes

Lids offer protection against contamination and evaporation during sample storage and cell cultivation. Four different polystyrene lids are available. High profile without condensation rings is mainly used for non TC-treated 96 well microplates. High profile with condensation rings is recommended for cell culture applications, since it ensures an optimum oxygen supply to cultivated cells due to improved gas exchange. Low profile lids contents are protected against evaporation and contamination, and the covered microplates can be easily gripped on the side in automated processes. Universal ultra low profile lids is compatible with a whole range of different microplates, provides the greatest possible protection against evaporation, and is also suitable for use in automated systems.
