Regional fundraising campaigns
Sustainable commitment

As part of the first Renningen trade show, Th. Geyer opened its doors to the interested public. The response was overwhelming. However, the aim was not just to present the family-run company as a full-range supplier of laboratory supplies, as an employer and as a training organisation. Rather, it was clear from the outset that the day on the company premises should be dedicated to a good cause. There was a creative idea for this: guests could enjoy delicious and healthy smoothies at the open-air bar. Each smoothie also equalled EUR 1 as a donation from Th. Geyer for the Association of palliative care teams in the Böblingen district. A tidy sum was raised, which was rounded up by the company at the end. Oliver-Alexander Geyer, the fifth generation of the family company's management, was therefore able to hand over a donation cheque for EUR 1,000 to Martina Steinbrenner, Chairwoman of the association. This was supplemented by voluntary donations from visitors. Participation in the trade show was therefore a lasting success in every respect.
The Höxter-Stahle site, the headquarters of the second Th. Geyer Ingredients division, also used the traditional beach volleyball tournament, in which numerous teams from the region take part, for an open day. In addition to a look behind the scenes for the many guests, information, sport and fun were also used here to do good. The proceeds from the volleyball tournament in the amount of EUR 500 went to the Stahler Blasorchester e.V. The three brass bands from Albaxen, Bödexen and Stahle are using this donation to support the primary school in Albaxen in organising a brass section. With this donation, Th. Geyer Ingredients is helping to procure instruments and maintain the important music lessons for the primary school children.
Two fine examples of regional, sustainable commitment.
