Con indicador de color naranja. Grano de 1 a 3 mm o de 2 a 5 mm. Desecante autoindicante libre de metales pesados y, por lo tanto, compatible con el medio ambiente. El gel es naturalmente naranja cuando está activo y a un nivel de saturación del 6 % del peso. A medida que el gel absorbe la humedad, el color cambia a verde.
El campo de aplicación es idéntico al del gel de sílice blanco. El cambio de color, sin embargo, representa una gran ventaja ya que permite monitorizar el nivel de saturación. El gel se puede regenerar cuando se calienta a una temperatura máxima de 120 °C hasta que vuelva a su color naranja original.

For moisture reduction in desiccators and precision laboratory instruments. The transparent polypropylene dish allows visual inspection of silica gel, which changes in colour from blue to pale pink as it absorbs moisture. The desiccant can be easily regenerated by heating cartridges in an oven at 50°C overnight or at 100°C for 6 hours. For faster regeneration, remove the membrane lid, heat the spent gel crystals in a suitable glass or porcelain dish at 150°C in the oven for one hour.
