The 3M™ Aura™ Health Care Particulate Respirator 1883⁺ provides effective respiratory protection for use in medical environments where health care workers will be exposed to airborne dust particles, non-volatile liquid particles and bio-aerosols. This respirator limits the transmission of infectious agents from staff to patients and is suitable for use during surgical procedures and certain other medical procedures. It protects the user as well as the product being handled. This product also offers resistance to penetration of splashes of liquid.

Safe and easy bayonet connection. A unique two-point bayonet connector
attaches both filters to the mask using the same technique. Compact, low-profile design. The swept-back position of the filters guarantees a wide field of vision free from obstruction and ensures optimal fit for use under protective visors. Three sizes (S, M, L) ensure a perfect fit for every type of face. High grade materials provide extreme comfort when worn. Innovative, X-guided, strap system. All versions meet the conditions of the EU guideline 89/686/EWG and are permitted as particle filtering half masks, in accordance with EN 149:2001. They already meet the increased requirements of the coming revision of EN 149:2001 + A1:2009 (test of filter performance for aerosol exposure with 120 mg paraffin oil). Australian Standard AS/NZS 1716:2003 certified (SAI Global).
