Laminated hydrophobic glass microfibre filter. Ideal for the sterilisation of large volumes of air at low pressure. Available in two sizes, depending on the volume of air or gas to be filtered. Non-sterile, separately available. Autoclavable.

Whatman GD/X syringe filters are the perfect solution for samples with high viscosity or samples that contain particles. Four filter layers decrease clogging and therefore filter exchange during processing is avoided. These filters allow 3 to 7 times higher throughput than traditional types.

The filter is suitable for food products and it reliably retains particles and microbes reliably. It can be steam sterilized or autoclaved separately. The air inlet and outlet openings are configured to ensure optimum flow. The integrated splash guard prevents premature blockage of the membrane.
