The LABSOLUTE® filter crucibles are made of borosilicate glass 3.3 and are therefore extremely resistant against high temperatures and chemicals. The crucibles are autoclavable and can be perfectly used for applications in qualitative analysis and preparative chemistry. The sintered glass filter disc has a porosity of 4 which equals a pore size of 5 -15 µm.

The LABSOLUTE® Buchner funnels are made of high-quality porcelain and comply with DIN 12905. They are glazed on the inside and outside and are characterized by an excellent resistance to lyes and acids with the exception of hydrofluoric acid.

The LABSOLUTE® Erlenmeyer shaped filter flasks with glass olive are made of high-quality borosilicate glass 3.3 and comply with ISO 6556 and DIN 12476. Together with the LABSOLUTE® Buchner funnels and suitable rubber gaskets, they form a perfect unit for almost all kinds of filtration applications in chemical laboratories. All LABSOLUTE® filter flasks are autoclavable and, because of their high wall thickness, also vacuum-proof.

We recommend a vacuum tube with an inner diamater of 8 mm to connect the filter flasks to a vacuum pump.

Due to the glass olive, the flasks do not comply with the requirements of the German product safety law (ProdSG).

Accessories Accessoires for LLG-Filtering apparatus

LLG-Microbiological Monitors and Analytical funnels provide a ready-to-use solution for the filtration of liquid samples using a manifold. No need for flaming or sterilization, reduces the testing time up to 70%. These 100ml units are suited for monitoring contaminants in all types of samples, from raw materials to finished products. In the case of Microbiological Monitors the nitrocellulose membrane is fixed to the unit. The filtration unit easily converts to a Petri dish, which can be labeled and incubated for further analysis. When using analytical funnels the nitrocellulose membrane can be removed and transferred to a Petri dish for further analysis. Adapter for use with a manifold is included.

Filtration unit for use with a Sartorius vacuum manifold or direct attachment to a special vacuum pump. Biosart^® 100 Monitors have been specifically designed for the microbiological testing of pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, water and other liquids. These sterile disposable units with built-in membrane filter and cellulose pad are ready to use. After filtration, just remove the 100ml funnel to convert the monitor into a petri dish. Culture media for wetting the pad are available in individually sterilised, convenient plastic ampoules. The DURAN^® TILT Light Shield is a removable white silicone sleeve that covers 94% of the bottle surface. The sleeve blocks damaging ultraviolet light, protects the glass surface from damage, and facilitates safer handling.

The DURAN^® GL 56 Bottle Tags can be used for individual colour coding or for fixing the light shield to the bottle.

DURAN^® bottle top vacuum filtration units for use with the TILT bottle (using an adaptor) or 45 mm media bottles. Manufactured in a Class 100,000 Cleanroom from Class VI non-cytotoxic materials. Supplied sterile.

Re-usable DURAN^® GL 56 filter adaptor allows the use of the TILT bottle with standard 45 mm bottle top filtration units. Manufactured from inert PTFE.

DURAN^® TILT GL 56 self-adhesive cap labels can be used to clearly indicate the separate bottles of media for each cell line, or types of media.
