LABSOLUTE® Petri dishes are made of crystal-clear polystyrene and offer excellent optical clarity. The Petri dishes are manufactured and packaged under aseptic conditions; the sterile versions are additionally beta-irradiated.

The dishes with ventilation lugs support gas exchange and reduce the formation of condensation.

The dishes without ventilation lugs decrease gas exchange, which slows down drying and therefore offers advantages for long-term experiments or extended storage.

The 90 mm Petri dishes, item numbers 7696390 to 7696393, are manufactured entirely using certified green electricity. Local production in Germany ensures short delivery routes, keeping the overall ecological footprint of the Petri dishes low.

The LABSOLUTE® petri dishes are made of soda-lime glass and supplied in two parts. The inner diameter and the height refer to the bottom plate, the outer diameter refers to the upper plate. They are autoclavable at 121 °C.

Suitable for applications in the cultivation of bacteria, yeasts and fungi, as well as cell cultures. Hydrolytic resistance: class HGB 3 according to ISO 719, type III according to USP.

Made of high quality optical clear polystyrene. Produced under aseptic conditions in an ISO 6 cleanroom.

The standard round design is supplemented by a square-profile dish and the OneWell Plate™. To enable parallel testing of a single sample using different agars, divided dishes with two or three compartments are available. The product range is completed by contact dishes and graduated germ count dishes.

The Macroplate is practical and space-saving alternative to six standard petri dishes, the numeric coding allows easier identification of wells. CELLSTAR® OneWell PlateTM filled with agar, the new OneWell PlateTM can be used as an HTS petri dish for the cultivation and screening of bacteria. Handling and the required incubator space are improved compared to a round cell culture dish. Notches on the left side of the plate and the lid ensure a secured lid position.
