Sileks nucleic acid isolation kits provide reliable and reproducible results thanks to specially designed Sileks MagNA™ and SileksMagNA-G™ magnetic nanoparticles and optimized buffer systems. DNA/RNA purification using magnetic particles allows a standardised nucleic acid isolation due to the high absorption capacity of nano particles. The surface of the Sileks nano particles have been optimized for the isolation of DNA/RNA from different sources such as blood, plasma and cell cultures. Isolated DNA and RNA can then be used in PCR as well as in any other molecular biology application (first strand cDNA synthesis, labeling, cloning, sequencing etc.).

Each isolation kit allows for 100 isolations.

The new Concentrator plus from Eppendorf is available in two configurations:

• Basic concentrator for connecting to an existing vacuum.

The Concentrator's heating technology optimises the evaporation process. No matter which configuration you choose, you're assured of quick and efficient-yet gentle-vacuum concentration of your samples (e.g. DNA/RNA, proteins). The complete system includes a vapour condenser that purifies the exhaust air by up to 85%. This serves as protection against unpleasant vapours.

With Vivacon^® 500, 100 to 500 µl sample volume can be processed in a fixed-angle rotor. Complete sample recovery by reverse spin possible.

Vivacon^® 500 PCR is additionally sterilised with ethylene oxide and free of human DNA.
