I racks chiusi in formato ANSI massimizzano lo spazio di stoccaggio e sono compatibili con le pipette manuali multicanale o con strumenti automatici per liquid handling. Il coperchio del rack può essere aperto con sistemi robotizzati per accesso alla provetta in applicazioni ad elevata movimentazione.

Si adattano a molti dei congelatori standard orizzontali. Dimensioni esterne dei rack (H x L x P): 238 x 139 x 571 mm. Con quattro cassetti per portare 16 scatole da 133 x 133 x 53 mm. Cassetti dotati di un unico blocco che, quando il cassetto arriva a fine corsa, si abbassa per consentire un accesso più facile. I rack per i congelatori includono anche una maniglia a filo per semplice rimozione del ripiano. Una maniglia in policarbonato sui cassetti ne consente una facile impugnatura. Include una guida ed un"etichetta per identificazione del cassetto/campione.

The rack is made of high quality PC, making it extremely shock and temperature resistant. The scan opening at the bottom of each tube position guarantees the readability of all tube IDs in one scan. Rotation stopper at the bottom of each tube position ensures the use of automatic devices to open and close the tubes.

The Rack Scanner provides an optimal solution for scanning Cryo.s™ with Datamatrix and Cryo.s™ Biobank tubes in racks with ANSI format. Due to the short scanning time of 8-10 seconds per rack, the scanner is ideal for scanning frozen racks. In addition, the device has an integrated heater that can be switched on for a short time to prevent condensation and fogging of the scan window even when scanning a large number of frozen racks.
