Highly sensitive chemiluminescence detection reagent with long-lasting signal for accurate detection of minute changes in protein levels. Stable signal emission, enabling repeated exposures and making it easier to process several blots in the same experimental run.

Ready-to-load marker providing sharper, more intense bands on gels and blots and improved band spacing for more accurate molecular weight determination. The bright, distinctive colors of the markers allow easier confirmation of transfer to blotting membranes and orientation.
Comprising a mixture of individually colored proteins that are combined to produce bands of equal color intensity. The approximate protein concentration is 1 to 2 mg/ml, depending on the product. Each 250 µl pack size is sufficient for use with 50 minigels (10 x 8 cm) or 25 large gels (20 x 20 cm).

High signal intensity makes ECL Select suitable for demanding Western blotting applications, allowing detection of minute protein quantities. Its long lasting signals allows for multiple exposures and a convenient time window between the experiment and analysis. Signals can be detected with a CCD camera or X-ray film.

The Immobilon Western HRP substrate offers a high sensitivity for Western or dot/slot/spot blotting on PVDF membranes as well as on nitrocellulose membranes. The HRP substrate is compatible with all commonly used buffers and blocking reagents. Blots on PVDF membranes can be re-examined, allowing detection of multiple target proteins on the same blot.
