Snap ring seals ND11 are made of PE and are supplied with fitted septa made of a variety of materials. They have a 6 mm centre hole.
By dispensing with the PTFE layer on the septa, these screw seals are ideal for PFAS analysis.
The septa have silicone as a carrier layer, which is coated with either PP or polyimide to ensure protection against a wide range of chemicals. The absence of PTFE makes the closures ideal for PFAS analysis. Multiple injections should be avoided, as with conventional silicone septa.
