The preparation is first adhered by electrostatic attraction and then fixed in place by biochemical binding. Polysine adhesion slides are best suited for paraffin-embedded tissue slices from human sources fixed in formalin, alcohol or Bouin solution. For tissue slices 2-5 µm thick.
