Particularly suitable for fluorescence spectroscopy. The UV version can be used from a wavelength of 230 nm and shows minimal autofluorescence. Standard deviation: Cuvettes of Polystyrene (PS) at 360 nm ≤ ± 0.005 extinction units, cuvettes UV-transparent at 240 nm ≤ ± 0,007 extinction units and at 300 nm ≤ ± 0,005 extinction units.

Disposable cuvettes for spectroscopy, in optical-quality PS and UV grade PMMA with optical windows for optimum transmittance when using wavelengths from 340nm to 800nm (PS) and from 280nm to 800nm (PMMA). Moulding and quality control determine the reproducibility of cuvettes. Kartell cuvettes are strictly controlled and varations should be within the range ±1% absorption. This is the vital when batch analysis is being undertaken.

For photometric determination of proteins, ssDNA, dsDNA, RNA and oligonucleotides in the UV range. Sample volumes as small as 70 µl are sufficient.

Alternativ Plastic disposable UV cuvettes, micro

96 Well Polystyrene Microplates are manufactured under DIN ISO 9001 guidelines and can be traced all the way back to production through a defined LOT number system. Furthermore they are footprint compatible with automated systems. Polystyrene is a highly clear polymer with excellent optical properties which makes it ideal for precise optical measurements. An it is suitable for work with cell cultures.

The Eppendorf^® Vis Cuvettes are disposable cuvettes made of clear plastic with a light transmission of 300 nm to 900 nm. They are the perfect tool for applications outside of the UV range, for example, colorimetric protein assays (Bradford, Lowry, etc.), determining of the optical density of bacterial cultures (OD600 methods), kinetic and fluorescence measurements. Based on the volume you would like to measure, you can select semi-micro or macro cuvette.
