LABSOLUTE® microscope slides made of soda-lime glass comply with DIN ISO 8037-1 and 8037-2. This means they are the ideal solution for excellent and reproducible microscopy results. The microscope slides, measuring approx. 76 x 26 mm, have a thickness of around 1 mm and are delivered pre-cleaned and ready for use. The 20 mm wide, coloured or colourless frosted area is at one end on one side.

Cut microscope slides are particularly economical and therefore represent an excellent alternative to the ground versions, for routine tasks. The corners and edges are 90° for all cut microscope slides.

Crimp neck and headspace vials ND20 with rounded or flat bottom made of clear and amber first hydrolytic class glass need to be able to withstand very high internal pressures and, as a result, their walls are generally 1.2 mm thick. The vials are available with a flat DIN crimp neck or with a bevelled neck (HS neck).

On the flat DIN crimp neck, liners have a greater contact surface, which ensures a better seal. A bevelled HS neck is required if the overpressure safety seal system patented by Perkin Elmer is used, since excess pressure can only be reliably dissipated in vials with an HS neck.

LABSOLUTE® beakers with durable volume scale and spout are made of high-quality borosilicate glass 3.3 and are therefore extremely temperature-resistant up to 500 °C. The beakers in low and high form comply with DIN 12331 and ISO 3819. Calibration
The graduated and volumetric pipettes are calibrated to "Ex" (+5 seconds) so that the draining volume of liquid corresponds to the printed volume specification after five seconds.

Accuracy class AS
All LABSOLUTE® graduated and volumetric pipettes satisfy the criteria of the highest accuracy class A. The tolerance lies within the standard defined for class A. The suffix "S" means rapid draining. The draining time is between 5 and 20 seconds, depending on the nominal volume, as opposed to 10 to 60 seconds with class A.

Durable labelling
All information is imprinted in brown diffusion dye. This dye is burned into the surface of the glass and can only be destroyed by glass erosion. The labelling is therefore unaffected by chemicals and cleaning agents.

Crimp and headspace seals ND20 are made of aluminium and are supplied with fitted septa made of a variety of materials. There are the following different types of caps available:

Plain caps with a 10 mm center hole. These caps are suitable for standard applications. They are available in several colours on request.

Clear lacquered caps, so called headspace caps, with a special score line that breaks when the internal pressure reaches 3.0 ± 0.5 bar. The excess pressure is then released, and the risk of the vial exploding can be avoided.

Clear lacquered centre tear-off caps and complete tear-off caps. These caps are available in several colours on request.

Gold lacquered, magnetic crimp caps with 5 mm centre hole to be used with CE HS500/HS800, CTC 500, as well as Fisons HS500 / HS800 instruments.

Gold lacquered, magnetic crimp caps with 8 mm centre hole to be used with CTC Combi PAL instruments.

Red lacquered, magnetic bimetal crimp caps with 8 mm centre hole to be used with CTC Combi PAL instruments.

These grey septa are temperature-resistant from -40 °C to 120 °C and have excellent chemical properties. They are 3.0 mm thick and have a hardness of 50° shore A.

Also on Pharma-Fix seals, it is only the butyl areas that can come into contact with the sample, and these are PTFE coated. The areas that abut the edges of the glass are not coated. This ensures a particularly good seal.

With the LABSOLUTE® destruction bags made of PP, contaminated laboratory items can be disposed of safely. The 50 ?µm thick film and the extra‑?wide bottom seam give the bags exceptionally high tear resistance. The bags in the 200 ?× ?300 ?mm size are packaged in a convenient dispenser box.

Autoclavable up to 134 °C. For autoclaving, the bags must only be slightly closed.

The reusable cooling packs are very handy due to their dimensions (W x H x D) of only 168 x 24 x 85 mm and their weight of 260 g. They can be used for all laboratory and transport applications. The packs are delivered filled, welded, and can be used several times. The cooling packs can be ordered individually or in cartons of 50 pieces for larger requirements. They can be used in direct contact with food according to Directive 2005/79/EU and Regulation (EU) 10/2011.

The LABSOLUTE® Erlenmeyer flasks with a durable volume scale are made of high-quality borosilicate glass 3.3 and are therefore extremely temperature-resistant up to 500 °C. The wide-neck and narrow-neck flasks, as well as the flasks with standard ground joint comply with the valid standards. The flasks are resistant to cold lyes/alkaline solutions and strong acids, with the exception of hydrofluoric acid and hot, concentrated phosphoric acid.

Short thread screw seals ND9 are made of PP and are supplied with fitted septa made of a variety of materials. They have a 6 mm centre hole and are available in different colours. The screw caps are similar in shape to the crimp caps and are therefore also suitable for robotic handling.

These septa are temperature-resistant from -60 °C to 200 °C and have better purity than septa made of natural rubber, butyl or red rubber. However, they have less effective resealability properties and are therefore more suitable for single-injection applications. Septa with a double-sided PTFE coating show a very low particle formation during penetration.

CHEMSOLUTE® sea sand is suitable for various applications, including chromatography.
