The LABSOLUTE® 96-well PCR plates offer optimum heat transfer between the thermal cycler and the reaction mix through their extra thin and uniform vessel walls. The plates are sealable with adhesive films, heat sealing films and cover strips with flat and domed caps. The slightly raised rims of the individual wells reduce cross-contamination and evaporation of the samples. The black alphanumeric coding allows optimal sample distinction. All plates are free of DNase, RNase and human DNA.

96-well, skirted, low profile
Skirted 96-well PCR plates are rigid and suited for processing and transportation by automatic pipetting systems. Cut corner: H1.

96-well, semi-skirted
96-well semi-skirted PCR plates can be easily labelled or tagged with a barcode. Cut corner: A12.

96-well, for Roche® LightCycler® 480
The plates are perfect for use in LC480. Homogeneous white coloration with titanium dioxide and a smooth surface reduce interfering autofluorescence signals. Cut corner: H12.

96-well, non-skirted
96-well non-skirted PCR plates are suitable for a broad spectrum of thermal cyclers. Cut corner: H12.

Self-adhesive foils for safe sealing of 96-well PCR plates from LABSOLUTE® are free from human DNA and RNA, nucleases and pyrogens.

PCR adhesive foil: Polyester film with an acrylic-based adhesive, which is suitable for PCR, qPCR and other colorimetric assays, but has a low autofluorescence.

Cover and storage foil: PP foil with acrylic-based adhesive for universal closing of 96-well plates. Reliably protects the samples against evaporation and dust; removable, non-pierceable.

PCR and storage foil: The 20 µm thick aluminium foil with acrylic-based adhesive is easily pierceable without sticking the pipette tips or creating a vacuum.

qPCR adhesive foil: This qPCR foil is specially developed for qPCR applications. The pressure-sensitive adhesive is only released when the film comes into contact with the raised rims of the individual wells, thereby ensuring reliable sealing with high transparency and minimal autofluorescence.

The LABSOLUTE® cap strips are made of virgin PP and optimally seal strips of 8 tubes and 96-well plates. For easy orientation, the ends are marked differently. The strips with flat caps are suitable for fluorescence measurements (e.g. qPCR).

The PCR-Cooler acts as a thermochromic temperature self-indicator: pink or light-blue (depending on the model chosen) when temperature exceeds +7°C, violet or dark blue when ice-cold.
The new Eppendorf PCR-Cooler reliably maintains a sample temperature of 0°C* for over an hour, changing colour when the temperature exceeds +7°C. Better than an ice bath, PCR-Cooler is simple to handle, space-saving and contamination-free, making it the perfect preparation for PCR reactions. The temperature of single tubes is indicated by the colour of the respective individual apertures. Furthermore, samples are prevented from freezing by the specially developed cone contour.
Eppendorf PCR-Cooler: the cooling unit in the universal 96-well format for 0.2ml and 0.5ml PCR tubes, for tube strips, plates and for individual tubes. The Eppendorf PCR-Cooler is a compact, innovative solution for protecting, transporting and storing sensitive samples and obviously also ideal for safely stopping reactions.

Application note:
By changing colour from violet to pink or dark blue to light blue, the PCR-Cooler shows when the temperature has exceeded +7°C. The crucial factor for sample cooling is the well colour in the PCR-Cooler.

The rack can be fitted into the box. Together, they create an ideal workstation for 0.2 ml PCR tubes, available in individual, 8-tube strip and 12 tube strip or 96-well plate formats. The box with transparent lid can be stacked to save space and is temperature resistant from -80 to +121°C. Assorted colours (red, yellow, purple, green, blue).

To prevent sample losses from heating, the caps reliably seal the vessels with their tight fit. The caps are easy to open and close.

The ultra thin-walled PCR plate design facilitates constant, rapid and precise heat transfer. The smooth vessel interior minimizes the binding of enzymes and nucleic acid to the walls. The rim of the wells are designed to protect against cross-contamination, allowing a reliable seal with the sealing mats tailored to the plates. In case the microplates, PCR- and Deep well plates need not only to be covered, but also securely sealed, self-adhesive sealing films are available. These film sheets can be easily applied on the plates and removed also without the use of expensive equipment.
