Capillary Pistons are designed, developed, and manufactured to fit Gilson MICROMAN® perfectly. They ensure optimal performance of your MICROMAN® pipette across the full volume range.

Gilson’s MICROMAN® E is a fully adjustable, positive-displacement pipette that, together with its Capillary Pistons (CPs), will ensure accuracy and precision when pipetting viscous, dense or volatile liquids (e.g. oils, cosmetics, blood, glycerol, acetone), and offer full protection against cross contamination. It is also ideal for potentially dangerous liquids (e.g. radioactive or corrosive reagents).

High performance positive displacement micropipettes with interchangeable glass capillary tube and ETFE tipped plunger.
The soft shaped handle and smooth plunger activation provides for enhanced hand comfort while handling viscous liquids, foaming solutions or volatile solvents.

The Transferpettor operates on the positive displacement principle and dispenses even difficult-to-pipet liquids with the highest precision. The capillaries or tips do not have to be discarded after each pipetting step, as residual wetting is minimal and can usually be neglected. Working temperature range: 15°C to 40°C.
The Transferpettor is suitable for pipetting of:

• Viscous media up to a viscosity of 140,000 mm²/s
• Media with high vapour pressure up to 500 mbar
• Media with high density up to 13.6 g/cm³
• Media that tend to foam (surfactant solutions)
