The PFXi series of spectrophotometric colorimeters introduces a unique concept in liquid colour control: RCMSi technology (Remote Calibration & Maintenance Service via internet). Users can benefit from the capability for remote calibration and servicing via the internet - eliminating any costs and time delays associated with servicing and guaranteeing compliance with standards. The PFXi range is supplied with a full range of colour scales for specific markets including, but not limited to, Petroleum, Edible Oils, Pharmaceuticals, Brewing and Honey. Users can upgrade scales remotely at any time. Every PFXi is supplied with colour control software for data analysis (LAN & USB cable provided). Optical glass cells, a certified glass calibration filter, a spare lamp and user instructions included. The PFXi-880 and -995 series are available with an optional integrated heater unit. A large selection of water test discs are available for colorimetric chemical analyses and colour classification. Each test disc is equipped with fade-free, non porous glass filters, the quality of which is not impaired by UV light or other environmental influences.

Test discs whose code begins with "N", are designed for use in the Nessleriser 2150. Test discs which start with the letter "C" are designed for use in the Nessleriser 2250. Lovibond^® Comparator 2000+ is a quality instrument for the visual analysis of colour intensity in analysis samples using Lovibond colour discs. The integral cell attachment enables cells with a depth of 40mm to be accepted. The Lovibond^® Nessleriser system provides greater depths by using corresponding accessory Nessler tubes. This enables the determination of concentrations below the detection limit of the Lovibond^® Comparator 2000+. The integral prism in the Lovibond^® Comparator 2000+ brings the glass standard of the colour discs and the colour samples optically into the field of view. The prism is hermetically sealed, preventing the lens from being contaminated. Both the Comparator 2000+ and the Nessleriser are designed in such a way that they compensate for cloudy or coloured water samples. Each device is available for use in daylight or in combination with the artificial daylight unit 2000.

Visual comparators for colour grading. A series of 3-field instruments designed for visual colour grading by direct comparison between the sample and coloured glass standards. The sample and two adjacent glasses on the colour scale are viewed simultaneously, making it easier to achieve the optimum colour match. The tungsten halogen light source is colour corrected to CIE Standard Illuminant C (B for the EBC Comparator 3000) and guarantees constant lighting conditions for colour grading. The Model F is a versatile visual colorimeter for measuring the colour of liquids, solids, powders and pastes in terms of Lovibond units. The user simultaneously compares the colour of light that is either transmitted through or reflected from the sample with that transmitted through a series of glass colour filters in 3 primary colours - red, blue and yellow. The slides are adjusted until a visual colour match is found for the light from the sample and the colour is then expressed in Lovibond RYBN units.

The Model F is supplied with a complete set of Lovibond coloured glass filters (Red 0.1 to 70; Yellow 0.1 to 70; Blue 0.1 to 40; Neutral 0.1 to 3.0), a sample chamber insert for easy cleaning, fused glass cells (one each of 1" and 5¼"), accessories and instructions. Wator allows the quick and easy determination of the water distribution in butter.

This test paper allows the quick and easy detection of strong oxidizers such as nitrite and free chlorine. Potassium iodide starch paper is also used to control diazotization reactions. Nitrite or free chlorine oxidize potassium iodide to form elemental iodine which reacts with starch to a blue-violet complex. Potassium iodide starch paper may be used by dipping it into the sample or by applying drops of the sample onto the paper. To detect gaseous oxidizers, the paper is moistened with distilled water and then exposed to the gas in question.

Most of our special test papers are semi-quantitative. They have a high-quality colour chart that allows quick and easy determination.

The test paper allows the quick and easy detection of hydrogen sulphide. This gas occurs in the processing of raw oil. It is toxic even in low concentrations. Therefore, critical points are carefully checked. Sulphide containing solutions also give a positive reaction. Lead acetate is toxic and the test paper needs to be declared as hazardous. The technically equivalent Sulphide test paper is a non-toxic and safe alternative.

These test kits are specially developed for testing boiler, cooling and industrial process water. They make use of both colorimetric and titrimetric techniques. Each test kit contains all the necessary chemicals and reagents in liquid
