The arium® mini is a compact ultrapure water series that is specially designed for Type 1 water requirements of about 10 liters per day. With the capacity to deliver ultrapure water at a rate of 1 L/min. and a width of only 28 cm (11 in.), this space-saving unit easily integrates into nearly any lab environment.
For analytical and especially critical applications, such as HPLC/UHPLC, all arium® mini systems can also be equipped with an optional integrated UV lamp (185/254 nm). This ensures reliable production of ultrapure water that is virtually free of organic components.

Typical applications are buffer and media preparation, histology, reagent preparation, ELISA, AAS, IC, photometry, SPE, GC-MS, HPLC/UHPLC and ICP-MS.

Combined ultrapure water system developed to provide ASTM type 1 and type 3 water. arium^® mini is the first ultrapure water system with integrated bag tank technology. The 5-liter bags are made of multilayer and specialized film, conforming to biocompatibility standards. The pure water can be stored in the side integrated 5-litre bag until the production of type 1 pure water.

The ultra pure water, as produced by these Elga deionisers is almost entirely free of dissolved mineral salts, including silica, and has a neutral pH since the dissolved CO₂ has been removed. From an inorganic standpoint, ultra pure water conforms to International Pharmacopeia and laboratory grade specifications for purified water.

The B114 and MicroMeg models are wall-mounted units ideal for users who require low volumes of ultra pure water. Both feature 9V battery operated, colour coded conductivity meters operated by depressing the "water test" switch allowing instant monitoring of the treated water quality. When exhaustion of the ion exchange resins is indicated, cartridge replacement is a simple, rapid operation.

The non-pressurised cartridges, which are suitable for a daily requirement up to 15 litres, are simply replaced after a prolonged period of service. A filter system prevents any resin from escaping.

These test kits are specially developed for testing boiler, cooling and industrial process water. They make use of both colorimetric and titrimetric techniques. Each test kit contains all the necessary chemicals and reagents in liquid
or powder form to conduct the tests. The detailed instructions contain a step-by-step explanation of the test procedure. The kits are supplied in a sturdy, compact plastic case.

UV photooxidation lamp for Simplicity® and Synergy® Systeme

This system is designed to produce large amounts of purified water with conductivity values depending on the salt content of the feed water. The deionization rate is at least 98 %.
Additional equipment, such as different tank sizes and pressure pumps, can be added to the plant according to customers" individual needs. The system can, for instance, be set up as a central water treatment plant within a building and supplemented with accessories to form a closed circuit pipeline. All systems are equipped with an RS 232 interface.
