Components for reaction and distillation

Manufactured from borosilicate glass 3.3. Suitable for feeding distillate from condensers into receiving flasks. Stem length is either 65 mm or 200 mm. Socket inclined 105° with outer tube of 12 mm diameter.

Made of DURAN^® tubing. Acc. to DIN 12594 and in addition to DIN standard (*), with two parallel NS 14/23 sockets and two NS cones (descending angle: 75°), for distillation thermometers of 55 mm built-in length.

Made of DURAN^® tubing. Distilling links acc. to DIN 12594, with Liebig condenser and Claisen head, thread connections: GL 14 (water) and GL 18 (vacuum), with two sockets NS 14/23 for distillation thermometers of 55mm built-in length.

Combination of a borosilicate glass piece with ground joint, an interior PTFE shaft guide with integrated special gasket and a GL screw cap made of PPS. The special gasket made of PTFE and an FPM o-ring which is compressed by a GL screw cap provide a good sealing of the stirrer shaft. This gasket can be exchanged after wearing. Suitable for vacuum, perfect bearing for stirrer shafts made of stainless steel, glass and for BOLA Stirrer Shafts.

With 230 V/60 Hz/16 A/3,2 kW (max.), on / off relay and coolant water sensor made of 3.3 borosilicate glass with dual platinum electrode. Switches connected apparatus (e.g. a heater for a solvent distillation system) off permanently if it detects a shortage of cooling water. An optical and acoustic alarm signal is emitted simultaneously. The relay is connected to the power supply cable of the electrical device and the sensor is connected into the outlet line of the cooling water (10 mm bore tubing connectors are provided). Switch cable length: 5 metres.

Complete Micro-distillation unit consisting of a Vigreux column with vacuum jacket (effective length 150 mm) and attached Liebig condenser (jacket length approx. 160 mm), stopper with vacuum attachment, 2 x NS 14.5 cone and 1 x NS 14.5 socket joint connections, permanently fixed, plastic (PP) tubing connectors, 100 ml evaporating flask, condensate distributor with 4 x 10 ml receiving flasks, 0 to +250 °C thermometer, heating bath trough with thick Duran walls and flat-ground and polished base (capacity approx. 600 ml), stand and mountings, magnetic hotplate / stirrer, Pt1000 sensor (to control the bath temperature).
