Take traditional cryostorage to the next level while accommodating denser storage capability compared to standard cryoboxes. Thermo Scientific™ Nunc™ Coded Cryobank Vial Systems feature laser etched 2D barcodes and standard microplate format racks. Compatible with the complete line of 2D barcode readers, capping/decapping equipment and labeling options, Cryobank tubes can be used in manual or automated storage of biological samples down to vapor phase liquid nitrogen. Cryobank products meet leading certification requirements and are available in a volume range of 0.5 to 5.0 ml.

The Cryo.s consist of USP Class VI certified PP in medical quality and with very low additive content. They are CE marked for in vitro diagnostic use and are suitable for air freight according to IATA guidelines for primary sample packaging. The code is applied using the latest laser technology and is highly resistant to chemicals, mechanical stress and extremely low storage temperatures. There is a choice of stock items with pre-defined, unique data matrix and barcodes or customer-specific coding.

With starfoot, can be stored in standard 9 x 9 / 10 x 10 boxes, this gives 23 % additional storage capacity. Featured with single handed quick seal closure, tightening or removed with only half a turn, tube and cap are made of PP (same coefficient of expansion), and with writing area, red line for maximum filling at 196 °C, RNase/DNase free.
