Cell culture multiwell plates are available in the hydrophilic surface (TC surface treatment) for improved cell adhesion and hydrophobic surface for suspension cultures and hybridoma cells. Cell culture microplates from the CELLSTAR® range are specifically treated. This treatment leads to polar groups such as carboxyl and hydroxyl groups , added to the plastic surface. These allow the growth of adherent cell lines. They are also suitable for automated systems and contain an alphanumeric well coding. The BRAND Insert 2in1 is a cell culture insert used for skin model production, 3D epithelium cultures, chemotaxis analyses, transmigration assays, transport and polarity studies.

In order to enable a savings potential in the 384 well format, the 384 well Small Volume™
microplates were developed. They have round wells with a conical geometry. The wells have a total volume of 28 μl and a working volume of between 4 μl and 25 μl. All plates have printed LOT number and also free of detectable DNase, RNase and non-pyrogenic.

Efficient performance of plasmid DNA, PCR and vacuum filtrations. Suitable for vacuum, filtration, centrifugation or overpressure processes. The plates are recommended for protein purification, lysate clarification and general filtration.
The glass fibre plate has a PET frit and two layers of glass fibre membrane for binding DNA. The PET frits have a pore size of 20 µm.

CELLview™ Glass bottom microplates are particularly suitable for demanding applications in high-resolution microscopy. The optimized microplate geometry with the lowered bottom ensures optimal microscopic analysis of the outer cells, even with immersion objects. Crystal clear PS combined with a flat, distortion-free bottom offers excellent optical properties. A flattened, raised ring around each well reduces the risk of cross-contamination and allows the wells to be sealed with silicone grease and cover glasses (ø 18 mm) or VIEWseal™ adhesive films. A slightly raised cover plate protects cover glasses and adhesive film during transport and storage.

DMSO-resistant cycloolefin microplates with solid bottom for the preparation of assay ready plates for acoustic liquid handling. The smooth surface of the microplate, without alphanumeric coding, is particularly suitable for heat sealing and automated sealing with metal cover plates. The PS surface of the HiBase Microplate is more hydrophobic than the surface of a High Binding Microplate and therefore more suitable for non-polar proteins.
