Membrane filters
Membrane filter PES, hydrophil
White. They are recommended for the filtration of aqueous solutions and proteins. Due to their low content of extractable substances, they are suitable for sample preparation in environmental analysis.
- High flow rates
- Low non-specific protein adsorption
- High resistance
Membrane filters type 111, cellulose acetate, sterile
White, individually sterile packed. Resistant to steam sterilisation up to 134 °C, or in dry heat up to 180 °C. Very low adsorption (important when filtering proteinaceous solutions). Suitable for particle removal and ultracleaning of aqueous solutions, methanol, ethanol, high-grade alcohols and residue analysis of fuels and oils. The extractable content of these filters make up < 1 % of their weight. Other pore sizes and formats available on request....
Membrane filters type 113, cellulose nitrate, sterile
White, individually sterile packed. Very low content of extractable materials. Weight constant after 60 minutes of drying at 105 °C. Suitable for residue analysis, microscopic viewing in incident or transmitted light, chemotaxis, x-ray fluorescence, spectrometry and gravimetric analysis. Autoclavable at 121 °C. Other pore sizes and formats are available on request....

Microsart® Mycoplasma Detection Kits
Rapid methods for the detection of mycoplasma contamination are essential for improving monitoring of the production process of biologicals. With the use of the Microsart ® Mycoplasma the testing time can be reduced from weeks to just 3 hours....
Millex® Syringe filter, PTFE, 25 mm
The Millex® Syringe Filter has been specially manufactured for sterilization or clarification of biological solutions. To increase throughput and flow rate, the filter has a larger filtration surface. This also reduces the pressure required to emtpy the syringe. The filters are provided with a quality certification because they are manufactured under a controlled environment and an automated process....
Millex® Syringe filter, PTFE, 50 mm
The Millex® Syringe Filter has been specially manufactured for sterilization or clarification of biological solutions. To increase throughput and flow rate, the filter has a larger filtration surface. This also reduces the pressure required to emtpy the syringe. The filters are provided with a quality certification because they are manufactured under a controlled environment and an automated process....
Millex® Syringe filter, Nylon, 25 mm
The Millex® Syringe Filter has been specially manufactured for sterilization or clarification of biological solutions. To increase throughput and flow rate, the filter has a larger filtration surface. This also reduces the pressure required to emtpy the syringe. Millex® Syringe filter, PVDF, 33 mm
Millipak® Filter
The stacked-disk format of Millipak® filter units eliminates the risk of fiber release from downstream support material.
Features & Benefits:
- No risk of membrane cracking as the 0.22 µm membrane is supported by a rigid plastic disc with channels
- As the membranes are welded onto the support disc, the risk of contamination is considerably reduced
- Minimum dead volume thanks to the large filter surface
Mitex™-Membrane
Organic solvents, blowing agents, concentrated acids and bases as well as cyrogenic liquids do not affect the Mitex™ membrane. The membrane is easy to handle. Although it is not supported, it still offers a high level of comfort.
Features & Advantages:
- Biologically and chemically inert
- Wide chemical compatibility
- Hydrophobic
- temperature resistant in the range of +260 °C and below -100 °C
Membrane filter 19 mm, Nuclepore™, Track-Etched, PC
- Track-etched for highly defined pore size and high pore density
- Treated with PVP to render it hydrophilic
- Low extractables, minimizing sample contamination risk
- High chemical resistance and good thermal stability for a wide range of sample types
- Low, consistent ash and low tare weights
- Smooth flat surface for high particle visibility
Nutrient pads
Sterile, dehydrated culture media pads in petri dishes. Once they are moistened with 3.0 ml to 3.5 ml of sterile and demineralised (or distilled) water they are ready-to-use immediately.
