Amicon® ultra centrifugal filters promote high sample recovery, even in diluted samples, through ultrafiltration and also provide fast sample processing. Particularly suitable for sensitive downstream applications as the centrifugal filters provide the fastest and most efficient concentration. The Ultracel-3 centrifugal filters have a NMWL (Nominal Molecular Weight Limit) of 3 kDa.

The Stericup® vacuum filtration system combines a filtrate collection bottle with a Steritop™ filter unit. The stability of the unit during filtration is improved by the conical shape of the collection bottle. This makes handling much easier. Even for use under laminar flow conditions the slim, compact shape is qualified. Stacking the closed bottles on top of each other is feasible, thanks to the slightly curved bottom.

Durapore® PVDF membranes are characterized by high throughput and high flow rate. To maximize recovery and minimize interaction with your sample, the membrane has very low protein binding.

The Stericup® E and Steritop® E sterile vacuum systems are the latest addition to the Stericup® Quick Release family and reduce plastic and packaging by up to 69% by saving the filter funnel. The funnel-less filter products are suitable for use in sterile vacuum filtration of aqueous solutions such as media, tissue culture reagents and buffers.

The Millipore glass filter holder was developed especially for the filtration of various liquids. However, the filter can also be used for other purposes such as HPLC solvent production. The vacuum connection is integrated on the filter holder base and the piston cap, above the filtrate outlet level. This prevents the filtrate from accidentally entering the vacuum tubes.

The Biopak® final filter is a disposable ultrafiltration module that is installed directly at the extraction point of Milli-Q water treatment systems. The filter produces pyrogen and nuclease-free ultrapure water for up to three months. The final filter consists of a white ABS housing and polysulfone hollow fibers.

For cell culture, Greiner Bio-One offers standard and filter cap cell culture flasks with growth areas of four different sizes. Suspension culture flasks complete the range in another sizes.They are made of high-grade polystyrene. The special design of our cell culture flasks makes it possible to efficiently reach the cell lawn with a cell scraper, whilst still providing optimal access with a pipette. The special neck
design reduces the risk of wetting the inside of the cap with medium, thus providing additional protection against contamination. The stacking rim on the top of the flasks ensures firm standing and easy stackability in the incubator.

Used for large volumes of aqueous samples. Presterilized. Contains a nylon membrane which is inherently hydrophilic, has low extractables, is bio-safe and has excellent flow rates. A glass microfibre prefilter ensures a long working life for the main filter and allows the easy filtration of large volumes and difficult samples.
