If you want your liquids and gases to be ultra-cleaned or sterilized during pressure filtration, then the stainless steel filter holders are perfectly designed for you. Autoclaving with membranes is no problem thanks to the PTFE-coated supporting sieve.

A reusable, autoclavable filter holder for determining colony and particle counting in connection with a filter flask or manifold. For use with Sartorius membrane filters and nutrient pad sets.

For use with any filtering flasks or vacuum distributors. With vacuum seal which can be used instead of a rubber stopper. Nominal filtration area 11 cm² (adapted for 47 - 50 mm filter). With support plate.

Ideal for biological and pharmaceutical sterile filtration. PES membrane features low protein binding, low level of extractables and a high flow rate. Now available in three pore sizes: The best filter units with 0.20µm and 0.45µm pore size and new to the protection of valuable cell cultures from mycoplasma with 0.10µm pore size. Filter top and filtrate bottle are graduated. Blue color-coded collar with cellulosic vent plug side arm and quick-disconnect tubing adapter. Leakproof, sterile screw closure included for storage of sterile filtrate. Sterile, single packed. Certificate of Quality included in each full case. Lot number, catalogue number, membrane type, pore size and expiration date are printed on filter units, bottle tops and receivers for easy identification and lot traceability.

The WHEATON^® filtering apparatus are available with fritted glass support, with stainless steel support or with PTFE support. The glass components are manufactured from WHEATON^® low extractable borosilicate glass 3.3. that conforms to ASTM E 438 Type I, Class A requirements. The 25 mm filtering apparatus are designed to handle small volumes of liquids, the 47 mm filtering apparatus are suitable for volumes up to 1000 ml. The 90 mm filtering apparatus are recommended for large sample volumes, liquids with a heavy particulate load and viscous liquids when a high flow rate is required.

Filtration assemblies with stopper connections:

• Designed for analysis of particulate or microbiological contamination
• For flasks with a No.2 hose connection for 1/4" (6mm) I.D. tubing

Filtration assembly with standard taper 40/35 joint connection:

• Recommended for routine filtration of organic solvents, corrosive liquids and the removal of particulates from HPLC solvents
• Ground glass connection eliminates phthalate contamination that can occur from silicone or neoprene stoppers
• Drip tip on the support bases extends below the hose connection preventing filtrate from entering the vacuum line
• For flasks with a No.2 hose connection for 1/4" (6mm) I.D. tubing

Filtration assembly with GL45 thread connection:

• Designed to collect the filtrate directly into a standard laboratory bottle
• Connection to the bottle is made with a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) cap and a PTFE-faced silicone sealing ring
