Housing MBS. SFCA / CA (Surfactant-free Cellulose Acetate) membrane. For sterile, particle free, ultrapure filtration of small volumes of liquid up to approx. 100 ml. Colour coded and printed for easy membrane and pore size identification. With hydrophilic cellulose acetate membrane for minimum adsorption. Ready-to-use. Housing PP. Regenerated cellulose (RC). Ready-to-use units with a hydrophilic, solvent-resistant membrane made of regenerated cellulose, making sample preparation quick and easy. Suitable for aqueous/organic solutions.

For the ready-to-use filter units only virgin raw material is used. This ensures that there is no interaction with the sample to be filtered, provided that the units are used properly. The filter units are intended for laboratory use only and at temperatures up to 60°C.
Note: If syringes with a volume <10 ml are used, a pressure could be created which exceeds the max. operating pressure (700 kPa/7 bar) of the filter unit. EtO-sterilized = endotoxin free according to LAL-Test (USPXXIII), Sensitivity: 0.25EU/ml.

• Spartan^®13 and 30 are tested and certified for UV absorbance substances at wavelengths of 210nm and 254nm with water, methanol and acetonitrile;
• Spartan^® 13 has an extremely low hold up volume; <10µl, for optimal filtration

Applications:
Ideal for HPLC sample preparation to achieve reproducible results. Carefully controlled manufacture guarantees lowest traces of UV- absorbing, extractable components.

Alternative Syringe filters, disposable, ReZist®PTFE

The only difference between the Sartorius Minisart^® NML Plus (Glass-fibre / Cellulose acetate) and the standard Minisart^® NML is an additional glass fibre pre-filter which enables a greater filtration volume for highly particle-laden liquids. Sartorius Minisart^®-GF (Glass-fibre, 0.7 µm² particle retention) contains a single, binding agent-free, glass fibre pre-filter for ultrafiltration. With a support achievement of 99 % for 40 µm spherical particles.

Housing MBS. Minisart^® High Flow PES (Polyethersulfone) syringe filters for sterile filtration, particle removal and ultra-cleaning. Covers a wide pH range. These independent ready-to-use syringe filters with PES membrane filter feature excellent flow speed and high filterable volume. The Minisart^® High Flow is a syringe filter for rapid volume sterilisation with maximum user convenience. Ready-to-use units, which offer flow rates at low inlet pressures, allow for a correspondingly rapid sterile filtration.

CHROMAFIL^® syringe filters are used for filtration of suspended matter from liquid samples. HPLC-Certification available on the internet

Colour coded
Filters with 0.2µm pores have a yellow upper housing, for filters with 0.45µm pores this is colourless; the different membrane types are distinguished by different colours
Low dead volume
~80µl for 25mm, 35µl for 15mm, 5µl for 3mm.

Specifications
The membrane housing consists of polypropylene (PP). This material is very resistant towards most solvents and has a very low extractable substances content. Thus it can be used with almost all solvents, acids and bases (see table). The especially thick rim of the housing is ideal for use with laboratory robots (e.g. Benchmate™). Filter inlet and filter outlet can be fitted to the CHROMABOND^® columns for selective sample preparation with the aid of a special adaptor. All filters can be autoclaved at 121°C and 1.1bar for 30min.

Labelled for method validation and certification. Colour-free plain polypropylene housing. Imprint for direct identification of the membrane type, diameter and pore size.
Hydrophilic membrane for polar as well as non-polar solvents. The HPLC filter, especially suited for mixtures of water and organic solvents; for TOC/DOC determination; not cytotoxic, does not inhibit the growth of microorganisms and higher cells. Polyester filter with integrated glass fibre prefilter (GF/PET): recommended for solutions with a high load of particulate matter or for highly viscous solutions.
