The Millipore glass filter holder was developed especially for the filtration of various liquids. However, the filter can also be used for other purposes such as HPLC solvent production. The vacuum connection is integrated on the filter holder base and the piston cap, above the filtrate outlet level. This prevents the filtrate from accidentally entering the vacuum tubes.
