96 Well Polystyrene Microplates are manufactured under DIN ISO 9001 guidelines and can be traced all the way back to production through a defined LOT number system. Furthermore they are footprint compatible with automated systems. Polystyrene is a highly clear polymer with excellent optical properties which makes it ideal for precise optical measurements. An it is suitable for work with cell cultures.

Properties:

• Are manufactured without the use of siliconbased mould release
• U-Bottom: ideally suited for agglutination tests, no sharp corners
• V-Bottom: entire sample volume must be pipetted off
• F-Bottom / Standard (ST): for precise optical measurements, microscopic applications (bottom reading)
• Are analysed for detectable DNase, RNase and human DNA
• Are free of biocides and antistatics

For resuspending pellets and homogenising within tubes (1.5, 2.0ml, exact fit). Autoclavable. Suitable for homogeniser/motor drive.

For safety grinding of any cells by minimal temperature rising. Closed System (CS) for minimizing the risk of personal contact with aerosols and sample overflow while grinding. Optimal contact of grinder and conical sample tube (15 or 50ml) to grind each cell in the best way.
Each unit is gamma sterilized and comes with a fully assembled pestle , conical sample tube (PP), solid top cap (HDPE) and label.
Type CS1: Tip from glass-filled PP (30%/70%) for standard grinding
Type CS2: Vitrified tip (cast silica) for harder grinding

Autoclavable micro-pestle for re-suspending pellets in 1.5 to 2.0 ml containers.

Autoclavable polypropylene. Suitable for battery-operated drive motor (9.314 496). Pestle length 7cm. Supplied with reaction tube, except Cat. No. 9.314 492 and 9.314 493.

Glass. Suitable if the nuclei are to be maintained after homogenising.
