The HTI 1 manual titration station consists of

• a burette with digital display and
• a magnetic stirrer with a precisely fitting holder for COD reaction vessels. A screen serves as a neutral background and allows the user to determine the colour change at the end of the titration precisely. Therefore a titration could always carried out under similar visual conditions. This improves the precision and the reproducibility of the results.

The precise positioning of the reaction vessels in the holder on the top of the magnetic stirrer also contributes to this. The angled wing of the screen protects against lateral dazzling light.

The behrotest^® workstation model SMA-ARB is a basic system for simultaneous aqua regia digestion of either 6 or 12 samples for heavy metals analysis.

The Aquabox flow-through unit enables the correct, expert determination of on-site parameters during the collection of soil and sewage samples. The unit permits the simultaneous determination of electrolytic and physico-chemical parameters under optimal and reproducible flow conditions.

Aquabox is constructed of transparent, shock-resistant PETG, a thermoplastic copolyester. The transparent construction allows constant visual identification of problems during operation, e.g. sand or sediment contamination. All components which come into contact with water are made of non-wetting PETG (flow chamber and lid) or PP (inlet and outlet tubing). Therefore the water being sampled is not affected by any release of contaminants from the materials used for construction of the Aquabox. The lid is splashproof and easy to open and close by means of a quick-release fastener. The lid has 6 variable diameter, splashproof sensor holders for inserting sensors up to 25mm diameter (larger diameters available on request).

• The water spirals upward in the chamber around the positioned electrodes and flows out over the splashproof outer housing.
• Six holders in the lid with variable diameters provide secure sensor mounting in the peak flow area.

The vessels of the homogenizers are protected against damage in the yolk type frame and can be carried easily by the two handles. They can be filled at the sampling location by a flattened inlet connection. Capacities from 2 to 25 l permit extraction and collection of multiple samples. Exact measurement of the sample quantities due to graduation. Subsequently, the transport rack is just placed on the magnetic stirrer in the laboratory or in the sampling vehicle and the homogeniser is immediately ready for use. The speed of the magnetic stirrer can be adjusted by a controller. The user can thus comply with the specified cone height in all cases. Oxygen is thus prevented from entering the samples.
