The Millex® Syringe Filter has been specially manufactured for sterilization or clarification of biological solutions. To increase throughput and flow rate, the filter has a larger filtration surface. This also reduces the pressure required to emtpy the syringe. The filters are provided with a quality certification because they are manufactured under a controlled environment and an automated process.

MF-Millipore™ Membranes have a biologically inert mixture of cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate. The MF-Millipore™ filters without Triton® surfactant have a lower water extractable content compared to the standard MF-Millipore™ filters and contain a minimal amount of wetting agent.

PetriSlides can also be used instead of Petri dishes. An inner ring is located in the transparent cover to ensure that the membrane lies securely on it. Due to its transparency it allows microscopy even if the lid still rests on the PetriSlides. The storage of the PetriSlides is uncomplicated, either in the supplied carton or in slide boxes.

The EZ-Pak® system with the Microfil® filter system contains sterile, ready-to-use funnels. These are in a convenient dispenser with a special filtration support to facilitate processing. Preparatory steps do not have to be observed, as they are not required here. The special "Push-Fit" funnel ensures perfect sealing without clamps.

Filter handling for MF method testing has been revolutionized by the EZ-Pak membranes and dispensers. They combine the advantages of ready-to-use, sterile and individually packaged membranes.

If you want to have free chlorine, large particles and organic compounds removed from your tap water, use the Progard® pre-treatment packs. The reverse osmosis membrane (RO) is protected from chlorine oxidation, mineral scaling and organic pollution.

The Stericup® vacuum filtration system combines a filtrate collection bottle with a Steritop™ filter unit. The stability of the unit during filtration is improved by the conical shape of the collection bottle. This makes handling much easier. Even for use under laminar flow conditions the slim, compact shape is qualified. Stacking the closed bottles on top of each other is feasible, thanks to the slightly curved bottom.

Without any filtrate transfer, you can filter into a 50 ml centrifuge tube with the Steriflip® filter unit. Simply screw the filter unit onto your centrifuge tube, tilt it 180 degrees and apply vacuum. The second tube, which is attached to the filter unit, now contains your sterile filtrate.
