PetriSlides can also be used instead of Petri dishes. An inner ring is located in the transparent cover to ensure that the membrane lies securely on it. Due to its transparency it allows microscopy even if the lid still rests on the PetriSlides. The storage of the PetriSlides is uncomplicated, either in the supplied carton or in slide boxes.

In contrast to nitrocellulose, Immobilon membranes have a number of advantages. An optimized coloring capacity, a broad solvent compatibility and a lower background make the membrane their solution. Immobilon membranes do not rupture or curl and can be cut without breaking. Reprobing is also possible many times. The Immobilon P membrane is particularly suitable for proteins with a molecular weight greater than 20 kDa.

Without any filtrate transfer, you can filter into a 50 ml centrifuge tube with the Steriflip® filter unit. Simply screw the filter unit onto your centrifuge tube, tilt it 180 degrees and apply vacuum. The second tube, which is attached to the filter unit, now contains your sterile filtrate.
