Two-Field and Three-Field Comparator View and nummerical results. The EComparator series offers the progress from Visual (subjective) to Electronic (objective) results.
With the EComparator series, viewers can view the colour difference with on-screen colour and on-screen numerical display. Touch screen technology makes the EComparator easily programmable with instinctive menus on screen. The EC 3000 range provides users with a Three Field View visual representation in alignment with the popular Lovibond^® Comparator 3000 / AF comparators. Here the sample and two consecutive readings of the colour scale are viewed simultaneously, making it easier to achieve the optimum colour match.

These color standards can be used to calibrate, control, qualify or validate color measurement instruments to determine the color number. These standards can be described as Platinum-Cobalt, Pt-Co, Hazen or APHA color. All descriptions are interchangeable.

Lovibond^® Comparator 2000+ is a quality instrument for the visual analysis of colour intensity in analysis samples using Lovibond colour discs. The integral cell attachment enables cells with a depth of 40mm to be accepted. The Lovibond^® Nessleriser system provides greater depths by using corresponding accessory Nessler tubes. This enables the determination of concentrations below the detection limit of the Lovibond^® Comparator 2000+. The integral prism in the Lovibond^® Comparator 2000+ brings the glass standard of the colour discs and the colour samples optically into the field of view. The prism is hermetically sealed, preventing the lens from being contaminated. Both the Comparator 2000+ and the Nessleriser are designed in such a way that they compensate for cloudy or coloured water samples. Each device is available for use in daylight or in combination with the artificial daylight unit 2000.

Visual comparators for colour grading. A series of 3-field instruments designed for visual colour grading by direct comparison between the sample and coloured glass standards. The sample and two adjacent glasses on the colour scale are viewed simultaneously, making it easier to achieve the optimum colour match. The tungsten halogen light source is colour corrected to CIE Standard Illuminant C (B for the EBC Comparator 3000) and guarantees constant lighting conditions for colour grading. Versions of the Comparator 3000 are available for the following scales, each supplied with the appropriate range of colour standards and sample containers:
