Cryogenic accessories

The reusable cooling packs are very handy due to their dimensions (W x H x D) of only 168 x 24 x 85 mm and their weight of 260 g. They can be used for all laboratory and transport applications. The packs are delivered filled, welded, and can be used several times. The cooling packs can be ordered individually or in cartons of 50 pieces for larger requirements. They can be used in direct contact with food according to Directive 2005/79/EU and Regulation (EU) 10/2011.

The LABSOLUTE® mini coolers allow effective cooling of reagents and solutions. Mini coolers can be used very conveniently directly on the workbench and impress with a controllable cooling process and reproducible results.

The yellow LABSOLUTE® mini coolers -20 °C made of robust PC are filled with a non-toxic cooling gel. Pre-cool for at least 24 hours at -20 °C to -25 °C before use.

The red LABSOLUTE® ice buckets are made of polyurethane foam and ideal for the cooling of samples, solutions or cultures. The ice buckets have excellent insulating properties and are suitable for use with dry ice, water ice, brine and acetone.

LABSOLUTE® offers two effective options for cryo preservation. LABSOLUTE® Precision Freeze for an even, particularly gentle freezing process and LABSOLUTE® Quick Freeze for the rapid cooling of samples.

Protection against freezing too quickly: the LABSOLUTE® Precision Freeze, made of PC and filled with 100 % isopropyl alcohol, guarantees a slow, reproducible freezing process of -1 °C/min. The samples are protected against contact with the isopropyl alcohol thanks to the internal tube holders made of HDPE, and even the labelling of the samples remains undamaged. For thawing, the handy tube holder can also be used as a floating stand in the water bath when thawing the samples.

LABSOLUTE® offers two effective options for cryo preservation. LABSOLUTE® Precision Freeze for an even, particularly gentle freezing process and LABSOLUTE® Quick Freeze for the rapid cooling of samples.

A handy alternative to the dry ice solvent bath: the LABSOLUTE® Quick Freeze was developed for the rapid cooling of samples - 1.5 ml H₂O, for example, only needs approx. 3 minutes to be cooled down to 0 °C. Pre-cool for at least 24 hours at max. -80 °C before use.

Suitable for both cooling and heating, universally usable, uniform temperature distribution within the block, ideal for all temperature-sensitive applications.

Aluminum blocks with conical compartments and closed bottom for easy and precise tempering of reaction tubes and PCR tubes. The precisely adapted shape of the borings and the closed bottom offer advantages compared with cylindrical drilled blocks with open bottom, such as much better heat transfer and temperature accuracy. Made of a special aluminum alloy with high thermal conductivity. Identical temperature conditions for all samples. Compact size, requiring little space. Suitable for 96-well plates, 8 or 12 strips and single tubes. Ideal for working with 8- or 12-channel pipettes. Blocks for different tube sizes and combinations of tube sizes as indicated, all working steps in one block, holes closed at the bottom and tapered to fit perfectly the respective tube sizes and offer an optimum heat exchange.

Polyethylene foam. Resist water absorption so racks can be washed and reused. Ideal for floating tubes in water baths, tubs, or beakers. Racks include detachable carrying handles, to lift samples out of baths easily.

For durable labelling of cardboard, plastic and cloth material for use at ultra-low temperatures. Non-smudge and non-running. Removable with alcohol. Extra fine point. Two packs available: 1 pack contains one each red, green, black and blue marker while the other pack contains black markers only.

For storage of large samples or 15 and 50 ml tubes. Robust, rugged polypropylene construction complete with two Snap-In grids for 16 x 15ml and 9 x 50ml tubes. Holds tubes securely upright in deep grid wells. Locate tubes easily with numbering of inserts on lid, imprinted grid and first tube orientation. Use without grids for larger sized product storage. Fill with ice and use as a temporary low temperature workstation. Autoclavable. Dimensions: 125 x 125 x 129 mm. For temperatures from -80 to 121°C. Purple box with clear lid.

For 05 to 2.0ml test tubes and cryovials. Racks will float with a full load of filled tubes. With moulded identification numbers and letters.

Unique tabs protect your samples from loss and contamination. Place tubes in slots and slide under tabs to keep tubes in place and caps closed when under pressure, floating or submerged. Use in water baths, ice baths or on the benchtop period.

Cryo.s™ are suitable for storage of cell cultures, tissue samples, microbiological samples (e.g. viruses, bacteria, yeast, other fungi, spores), material of human or animal origin (such as blood, serum, sperm) as well as antibodies, RNA, DNA and protein samples. Cryo.s™ are not intended for sample storage within reproductive medicine.

Reduce sample handling time and the need for several racks when working with samples for cold temperature storage. Patent-pending opening and closing mechanism allows the rack to expand, creating needed room for sample manipulation. Then simply collapse the rack back to its compact form and it is ready for the freezer. Temperature range -80 to 121°C.

Open style floating rack provides tubes with maximum contact with the water and better circulation of the water bath around the tubes, allowing superior temperature control of samples. Tubes are held tightly in rack and can be removed easily.

The racks can be used with all freezer models. A locking rod is used to secure the cryoboxes. They are available with or without cryoboxes.
