Cellulose, 100 % biodegradable and fully compostable autoclavable. Steristoppers^® have been proved as an excellent sealing for microbiological samples and tissue cultures in test tubes and Erlenmeyer flasks. They are in constant use in many European microbiological laboratories.

Lids offer protection against contamination and evaporation during sample storage and cell cultivation. Four different polystyrene lids are available. High profile without condensation rings is mainly used for non TC-treated 96 well microplates. High profile with condensation rings is recommended for cell culture applications, since it ensures an optimum oxygen supply to cultivated cells due to improved gas exchange. Low profile lids contents are protected against evaporation and contamination, and the covered microplates can be easily gripped on the side in automated processes. Universal ultra low profile lids is compatible with a whole range of different microplates, provides the greatest possible protection against evaporation, and is also suitable for use in automated systems.

PP screw cap with Tefzel^® ETFE plug liner and viton O-ring. Leak-proof at recommended maximum speed and rcf for tubes. Suitable for working with aggressive chemicals. The 38mm assembly has a PP shoulder reinforcement ring to prevent collapsing of the 250ml bottles.

The DURAN^® TILT Light Shield is a removable white silicone sleeve that covers 94% of the bottle surface. The sleeve blocks damaging ultraviolet light, protects the glass surface from damage, and facilitates safer handling.

The DURAN^® GL 56 Bottle Tags can be used for individual colour coding or for fixing the light shield to the bottle.

DURAN^® bottle top vacuum filtration units for use with the TILT bottle (using an adaptor) or 45 mm media bottles. Manufactured in a Class 100,000 Cleanroom from Class VI non-cytotoxic materials. Supplied sterile.

Re-usable DURAN^® GL 56 filter adaptor allows the use of the TILT bottle with standard 45 mm bottle top filtration units. Manufactured from inert PTFE.

DURAN^® TILT GL 56 self-adhesive cap labels can be used to clearly indicate the separate bottles of media for each cell line, or types of media.

The Matrix™ SepraSeal sealing mats are suitable for securely sealing sample tubes with or without 2D code. For sample access, the caps can be removed with the practical cap removal tool (Cat.-No. 6.254 390, please order seperately) or pierced once. The pre-slit versions are suitable for multiple piercing. The self-sealing function of the pre-slitted elastomer maintains sample integrity.

Consequently the DURAN PURE premium lip seal cap is particularly suitable for use in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries. Due to the integrated lip seal, no further seal is needed to provide tight sealing of the bottles. Therefore it is ideal for storage and transport of sensitive products.

Black screw caps made of PPS, inner parts consisting of a v-ring (PPS), a tapered ring and a sealing ring (both PTFE) as well as an o-ring (FKM) for tubing diameters under 3 mm (not exposed to the medium). Good chemical resistance, the medium is only exposed to PTFE. Temperature resistant from -50 to 250 °C, pressure stable up to 10 bar, suitable for vacuum.
Laboratory threaded joints, GL 14

Cap from PP, membrane made of PTFE with 0.2 µm pore size. Ideal for autoclaving processes because the membrane permits pressure equalisation and tight sealing, reducing the risk of contamination. Temperature resistant up to 140°C. Typical applications: storage or transport of gas generating media, autoclaving of media.

Comprises of 5, 7 or 8 Gukos with an external lower diameter of 12 mm, 17 mm, 21 mm, 27.5 mm, 33 mm, 48 mm, 58 mm and 66 mm each. Hardness 40 Shore A.

PP Cap (Pilferproof) 28 neck finish, with approx. 19.4mm inner mouth.

Tamper-evident screw caps for Laboratory bottles with DIN thread. Temperature resistance: max. 140°C.
The integral plastic ring tears when the cap is first opened and is retained on the bottle neck. Therefore it can be clearly seen whether the bottle retains its original seal. After first untwisting, can be used as "normal" screw cap.

Autoclavable to 140 °C (steam).

Manufactured from borosilicate glass 3.3 which is resistant to heat and almost all chemicals. They meet the highest quality standards according to DIN 12252. Lower closed end of stopper features a "drip-tip" to ensure adhered liquid is returned to the flask. Hexagonal flat head prevents the stopper from rolling and allows stopper to be stood on end preventing contamination of the ground surface.

The caps are available as a closed-top cap with a high temperature PTFE coated cap liner, or as an open-top cap for use with septum or stopper. Metal closures offer a wide range of temperature tolerances and have a high mechanical strength.
